The location of the hotel is excellent, especially for accessing transportation, like the sea coach. The amenities provided were fantastic; the fridge, air conditioning, washing machine, and microwave were very convenient. The inclusion of plug adapters in the room was helpful. The hotel was impeccably clean, both inside the rooms and throughout the premises. The cleaning staff did an exceptional job. The customer service was also very good. Although we didn't initially receive the exact room we booked, the hotel staff were accommodating. During our stay, we met Raymond, one of the managers, who took the time to introduce himself and chat with us. While there was another manager who assisted us in changing rooms, he didn't introduce himself. However, he was helpful and a nice guy. The breakfast menu could offer more variety, especially for guests staying longer. We mentioned this to Raymond, and he mentioned that it's something they're working on. Unfortunately, breakfast couldn't be delivered to the room, but you could pick it up from the restaurant. The pool was enjoyable, but having a lifeguard nearby for safety would be beneficial. Security was top-notch with 24/7 coverage. Both the bellboys and security staff were commendable, deserving of better pay and breaks during their long shifts. The restaurant staff, especially Sulieman, provided excellent service. While I can't recall everyone's names, the cleaners, bellboys, and security personnel truly contribute to the hotel's ambiance. Nassim, the food and beverage supervisor, was also great, and the complimentary desserts were a nice touch. Compared to other nearby hotels, The Lead Hotel sets a high standard. I'll definitely return, especially when the hotel expands. Raymond, I'll eagerly await an invitation to the rooftop bar's opening.

I was impressed with this beautiful Unique Hotel architecture in Freetown, and how very friendly all the staff were. The Room was excellent as is the location, Just 2 minutes walk from Lumley beach. The staff in the restaurant were also extremely friendly & attentive. Two members of at reception deserve a special mention Patricia & William who were so very friendly & helpful.here is just one example, I had forgotten to pack an umbrella they very kindly gave me one at the desk , thats what I call really good service. Swimming pool is large, cleanliness around it is remarkable and its water is crystal clear. The Gym has the latest state of the art equipment. I will most definitely be returning here in the future, I would recommend this hotel to any one without hesitation, oh yes the other I noticed is how very comfortable the beds are. So summing up an excellent hotel with lovely rooms & fantastic staff do come & stay here you will not be disappointed.

The Lead hotel is nestled along the picturesque beachfront of Sierra Leone. The hotel's stunning location added a special touch to my experience, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the beach. The spacious room was not only beautifully appointed but also provided ample space for relaxation. The breakfast spread boasted a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The highlight for me was undoubtedly the amazing pool, perfect for serious swimmers, and the fully equipped gym, allowing for a comprehensive workout regimen. Moreover, the attentive and friendly staff further enhanced my stay, making me feel welcome throughout. I highly recommend Lead for anyone seeking a luxurious beachfront retreat with exceptional amenities and service.

Excellent and innovative owners, with a superb staff at their disposal. Predictably friendly and helpful, but they will cater to your every need. They are expanding and ever increasing their services, taking a well thought out path. If you have not travelled to Sierra Leone or Liberia before, their is a prefixed stigma attached. People need to understand that these are beautiful countries with an incredibly friendly population. Safety is not an issue, just use basic level common sense, like any other city in the world. Fact is your safer in Freetown than you are Glasgow on a weekend or 40% of the city at anytime! Proud Glaswegian, and come from those areas but that is factual. Would highly recommend The Lead Hotel and Ftown. R. Glasgow

The Lead Hotel is amazing and we highly recommend staying there. It is nicely located by the beach, very clean, with all amenities of high quality. All staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. We would like to send special thanks to Mohamed S, who works in reception. He was always very professional and went extra mile to help with our requests, including last minute vehicle booking and extending our stay. He made sure that we were welcome and safe. Abdul Karim, working at the bar pool, has been great with our daughter and is very kind. Our driver, Alpha, acted also as a security guard for us, to ensure we are safe and gave us a lot of useful advice. The managers were present on site, in case we had any queries.
